So after reading an article in Art Doll magazine that featured people who make traditional Czech marionettes I decided to give it a try! of course i didn't
read how to
assemble or make one....thought I'd just make it up as i went along. i do that, a LOT...with that being said, i didn't think about the materials that would make a good marionette so i used Sculpy Extra Light. It wasn't until after i painted her i realized wHy the traditional ones are made out of wood, sturdy-ness! hmm...guess she will have to be more of an art piece than a functioning puppet.
I'm still really happy with how cute she is! maybe she will morph into something completely different, stay tuned!!
